The location isn't ideal, but the food is amazing. Dim sum was very well made, absolutely packed with meat and shrimp. Kids loved the shrimp balls and chow mein. The restaurant appeared very clean and well kept, and my children enjoyed checking out all the lobsters and fish. Even the tanks looked like they're cleaned regularly. The woman who served us was very polite and gave great suggestions. You can tell the entire family runs the place.

I'll be honest, I've only ever tried this place through DoorDash, and....OMG from what I've tried- it's amazing!! I have only began to tap into their menu bc I've only ordered dim sum. The pan fried chive dumplings are amazingggggg and so is the Har Gow, Siu Mai and shrimp balls. I cannot wait to go in-person and try it super fresh.

Omg I love this place!! So delicious and very nice service! It's very nice inside too. The staff rolls a cart around with food that you can pick- like appetizers. They also have a cart with Dim Sum . They automatically serve you tea and water. It's not over priced at all- and the food quality is amazing. We love going here on Saturdays. Definitely a nice little restaurant that a lot of people don't know about! Delicious!!!

Overall Experience: Had a fantastic lunch at Oriental Chef this past Sunday and it's definitely a place I think more people should check out! The restaurant is in Stockton and has this welcoming, casual vibe that made us feel right at home. Service: The staff here was great. They were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated or served, which was a nice surprise for a Sunday. Food: We went all out on the dim sum and were not disappointed! Everything tasted super fresh. We had the steamed pork buns, which were so soft and flavorful, just filled with juicy pork. The su mi and shrimp cheong fun were delicious too, and the har gow was just perfect--those shrimp dumplings were so tasty. We also tried the soy sauce noodles and the beef chow fun with gravy; both dishes were just spot on. Every dish was a hit, honestly. Price: Prices were pretty reasonable considering how much food we got and how good everything tasted. It felt like great value for what we paid. Overall: I'd definitely recommend Oriental Chef if you're in the area and in the mood for some authentic, fresh dim sum. The place might not look like much from the outside, but it's a real gem. Super glad we decided to check it out and we'll definitely be going back!

It's our go-to! Conveniently close by at Hammer Ranch next to the post office with friendly staff, good dim sum and Chinese American standards. They have my favorite rice porridges, salt and pepper dishes and black mushroom dishes. Local Asians come here routinely to eat or get take-out. I wish they still had a bakery. They used to sell rice cakes, custard tarts and other Chinese pastries. At least they still have steamed baos.

It was dim sum Sunday, the food was fresh and delicious, reminded me of San Fransisco holes in the wall where they serve up the best dim sum dishes. James and I ordered shumi, shrimp eggplant, chicken feet, tripe and soy sauce noodles from the dim sum cart. From the main menu I ordered the fried soul fish and side of steamed rice, the fish was nice and crispy, seasoned to perfection, my favourite parts were the outer fins, it was like eating fish chips, sooo good! I'm so glad we decided to stop by and give this place a try.

It looks like this resto has new management and the foods taste much much better than ever and prices are very reasonable. I eat here often so I know the difference....!!!

This place is really good! Very clean and not as busy (at the time we went - 6:45pm). Super nice and quick service. Food portions are big so I definitely recommend coming in with a bigger group and eating family style. We had both dim sum and dinner! We ordered: - Steamed Barbecues Pork Bun - Meat Stuffed Bamboo Shoot Roll - Su Mi (Shrimp Pork Dumpling) - Steamed Chicken Feet - Deep Fried Shrimp Balls - Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs - Beef Chow Mein - House Special Fried Rice - Deep Fried Sole - Hong Kong Style Milk Tea Overall, VERY yummy dinner. I wanted to go into a food coma, i was so sleepy afterwards. Highly recommend the spare ribs and the deep fried sole! I personally think the milk tea was alright for my taste. I originally wanted the Hong Kong Style Coffee and Milk Tea drink however they were out of the coffee. I definitely want to try it next time we come back as I am a huge coffee lover.

This place was good before and got even better in the past year! The food is great. The restaurant is not usually busy so waiting would be uncommon. I've gone for both dim sum and dinner and love both. Their portions for dinner are pretty big. Would recommend coming with a group to eat family style.
